We all need to do better and be better for this planet sake. Taking the Green Road will offer reasonable and environmentally responsible ways for all of us to help this planet and the future of our children. Because, isn't that what it is all about, that we leave a better place for our children?
This channel will offer ways to live clean, be more eco-friendly & investigate ways in which to live a more sustainable lifestyle. To become better stewards & planet-friendly, and in hopes to value green spaces more. Recycling, composting, seed starting, and the creation of an indoor greenhouse are the upcoming and reoccurring topics.
I think sometimes, it might be overwhelming to consider terms like: carbon footprint, low-impact, non-toxic, non-gmo, resource saving, toxic free, waste-reducing, green building, locally grown/raised and produced; it is the hope of this channel that together in partnership we will alleviate some questions together that we may all have in regards to those terms and others.
I hope to promote community engagement and community participation in various endeavors, for one example, the seed giveaway for various elementary schools in hopes they offer a garden program. At this time I have sent seeds to elementary schools all over the country and has been a huge success.
Update: 50% of all proceeds made from purchases from Amazons affiliate links will go to several garden programs across the country.
https://www.indystar.com/story/news/e... “Indianapolis collects more than 24,000 tons of trash each month — but only 7 percent of it gets recycled. Indianapolis Star.”
If I endorse a product I will offer a *disclaimer. All my videos and the subject matter are of my own creation and not being endorsed by anyone and I am at this time funding all promotions and topics of this channel 100%.
A sit down discussion of topics that have come up.
But, 1st and foremost, I may not have been clear in my letters to the elementary schools there is absolutely no purchase required for me to send you more seeds. I can not afford to print all the instructions for the variety of Sunflowers I send; that is why I direct you to the link on Amazon so you can get a full picture of all the details of growing these particular Sunflowers. All I need to know, is if you have a garden program, so I can send more. These seeds are expensive they are non-gmo organic heirloom quality which means they can be reseeded for the next growing season. That is why I only send a dozen as a gift, to see if you would like me to send more and all is required is an email and I will send more.
All I would like in return is a photo of the end product the flowers you grow, minus any identifying information inre to the children and maybe subscribing to my channel if you choose, that is about all I want in return.

Do I think Amazon is a behemoth, yes. However, I also think with the sheer size of Amazon they are making great strides to become a steward for the go green movement; which will help us all, because Jeff Bezo will soon conquer the world, just joking...
I might get flack for this video, but if you have any comments feel free to voice your opinion and let's talk about it. We all need to do better and be better for this planet sake.

If we are mindful of our purchases, can it be recycled, is it biodegradable, can it be re-used, those are all questions we need to ask ourselves for cleaner living. I've been sending seeds to elementary school children all over the country and should they need help in starting seeds, I have created a video for them and whoever needs it.
It has a few other topics discussed, so if the kiddos or anyone wants to skip the boring part, I think the planting seeds starts a 6 min 40 sec.
The affiliate links - you will never be under any obligation to buy anything, just if you choose. If you do choose it will help support this channel and would be greatly appreciated. We all need to do better and be better for this planet sake.

What the heck am I doing? I really don't know. I am really trying to live as sustainable as possible in a condo. I am making an indoor greenhouse and composting bin. I am going to have a lot of projects in the works. My laptop died, so I'm having to learn to do all this again, just using my phone. My future goals are to send plant seeds to local elementary schools so the kids can plant life, hopefully they will want to. I just want to bring to you how to live as sustainable as possible while being an urban dweller.
